My vocation story begins in the winter of my junior year of high school, amidst preparations for receiving the sacrament of Confirmation – which included a catechetical Mass. At the elevation of the Sacred Species, I became entranced, in awe at the notion of a man holding in his hands the God of the universe. In that moment, I perceived a voice which said to me, “Perhaps, this is it.” In the wake of this experience, I made efforts to orient myself toward building a life of prayer and of holistic community. It would not be long before I met with my Vocations Director regarding an application. And now, here I am, a seminarian.
