Francis Michael Boyle
My discernment of the priesthood began to take shape during my senior year of college when I joined the discernment group at St. Peter Catholic Student Center at Baylor University. Through prayer, spiritual direction, the support of friends, and witnessing an exemplary model of the priesthood, I began to consider the possibility of becoming a priest and later joined the seminary. A profound point of reflection during my discernment was realizing that by choosing the priesthood, a priest orients his life toward a reality beyond this world, demonstrating that he, like all human beings, is made for something greater than what this world can offer.
