Ever since I can remember I have seen myself as a priest. As a child I was attracted to the idea of being a priest, but later, the idea of becoming a priest was less well received. In high school, I could not shake the gut feeling that I was called to priesthood, despite despising the idea. The vocation itself seemed to haunt me. Eventually, I ended up at a Catholic university where my love for Christ and His Church matured, and I soon readily accepted my call to discern priesthood as a seminarian for the Diocese of Tyler.
