JOHN PAUL TIMOTHY MCGUIRE

My vocation story begins with me witnessing the example of a good pastor and seeing that as an attractive life as well as the reception of my first Holy Communion in second grade at that time. It was a couple years after that I started altar serving and that enlivened this desire for the priesthood and fortified my love for the Mass, the Eucharist, and service at the altar. At the end of catholic high school I applied to my diocese and then became a seminarian. I am also the oldest of eight children, and I live in a small town in Missouri which is what has nourished me and my desire for the priesthood out of a desire to serve those who care so much for me. I give my life to God in his service to care for the souls he is calling me to serve.
