Nathaniel Austin Hoey

I am the oldest of 8 kids in a Catholic family which has always been involved in the Church. At fifteen, I was invited to spend a week in prayer on a retreat called Monk Week. It was there I first received the call to become a priest, and throughout high school, it remained in the back of my mind. By navigating my own role in the parish, in my family, and growing in my own prayer life, the realization that not only was I called to priesthood, but wanting to be one became all the clearer. Right after I turned 18 during my senior year, I began attending events and shortly applied to seminary. Thanks be to God that I am now on the path of formation.
