I attended a vocational retreat in 2017, but never felt God’s calling to the priesthood, even though in my mind I knew He was showing signs of the calling. However, after I began helping Fr. Noel Davis, an 86 year old priest from my Diocese, that was the starting point of my discernment process. I began a journey of having a deeper meaning of what the Mass is, which is the highest form of prayer and our Lord’s sacrifice at Calvary. Over the summer, I read vocational books that prepared me spiritually and to understand the commitment I have with God. As I continue my discernment process here at Holy Trinity Seminary, the more I want to fall in love with Christ and His bride, the Church.
