SHANE JOSEPH KLIETHERMES
From a young age I have seen the Mass as something extraordinary, and I became very drawn to the Eucharist after receiving my first communion. When I started serving in late elementary school, I gained a great respect for the priests at my parish, which then sparked a curiosity of the priesthood. After attending many retreats during high school, I heard the Lord’s call, but He instead needed me to attend Benedictine College first. During my two years there, the Heavenly Father revealed His call in deeper, more validating ways to where I knew it was time to enter seminary. Two years later, I am amazed to be in my third and final year of college formation at HTS.

Fun Fact
My extended family from here in Texas converted me into an avid Dallas Cowboys fan back in middle school, though I was born and raised in Missouri. Thus, I think it’s no coincidence that the Lord brought me to the Dallas area for college seminary.
